I’ve been studying metalsmithing for quite a while now, which is fusing metals together via soldering.

Yes, a torch!

My technique is to roll a sheet of sterling silver until it’s paper thin and use scissors to cut out the designs. The petals are quite small, so it does take practice.

And, focus.

The purpose is to create, but it also helps with well-being. It’s a very calming process.

Hopefully, that shines through in the finished item.
